Missill
Club, HouseMe, Myself and I

Fueled by this frenzy, our 'self made woman' threw herself into her latest challenge: production. The first album came out in March 2008, code-named 'Targets'. Amongst the featured artists are Dynamite MC (Roni Size's collaborator), Blurum 13 alongside DJ Vadim, 3 times world DJ champion DJ Netik, the Brasilians Edu-K et Chernobyl (Bonde Do Role) - a truly first class international cast for a series of sonic torpedoes. And in keeping with her live sets, Missill puts down some hip-hop carnage - the massive 'Choose to Care' mixes up baile funk via breakbeat, she blows away the cobwebs with electro banger 'Glitch', and makes people lose it with the untouchable single 'Forward'. Japanese design agency Furi Furi have now made a visual ode to this track, which features on MTV networks across Europe, Asia and Australia. Boom! And all of this is wrapped up with sublime and sexy artwork, put together by you know who.
And so the album can be found not only in record stores in France, but also in Germany, Britain, Japan, Australia: all over the world, and always with rave reviews from all sides of the press.
Popular with both the media and the public, Missill has more and more press coverage (DJ Mag, Cosmopolitan, IDJ, Trax, Hip Hop Connection) and has appeared on prime time French TV. Asian network Channel V has backed her tour in Asia, Diesel has lined her up alongside Soulwax and Mr Oizo to celebrate 30 years in Tokyo - Booya!
Never short of ideas, Missill has expanded her visual propaganda by inviting web-users to join the Missill Riot Crew army by creating their own 'Don't F**k With...' Manga-inspired avatar. This has now snowballed, and can count more than 20,000 soldiers amongst its ranks across the planet.
